We, a group of individuals united by a common bond of mutual interest, do hereby establish a non-profit association of modelers with the purpose and objectives set herein.

Article 1:   The purpose of this organization is:

1. To insure the timely exchange of modeling information while guarding against comprise of commercial planning and to insure that modelers' correspondence or discussion are not directed into areas of national security.
2. To cultivate interest in the hobby of modeling, particularly through the use of commercially manufactured plastic model kits, and to provide information, data and other assistance to our members to continually raise the standards and techniques of their work.
3. To provide the members interest by keeping them informed of new products and services. Members will also be warned of unscrupulous practices within the industry by private individuals or by fellow members.

Article 2:   The objective of this organization is:

1. To establish, maintain, and provide an information service for the benefit of the membership.
2. To establish and maintain liaison with local dealers associated with the modeling hobby where possible.
3. To encourage an interest in plastic modeling and to assist interested organizations and groups.
4. To establish and maintain liaison with other organizations and groups in Florida and nationally.
5. To publish a newsletter at regularly established intervals containing information on modeling and related subjects.
   It will also keep members aware of what the organization has done, is doing, and will do in the future.
6. Maintain a web presence.
